Practice gratefulness and stop complaining: Happy Monday!

This week’s Happy Monday post is short and sweet! 🙂

Challenge yourself to go one day without complaining! See how that works! Most of the things we complain about on a daily basis tend to be meaningless, but have the power to impact/set our mood for the day. We tend to complain about things as simple as the weather! Have you noticed that we always seem to have something to say about the weather? It is either too hot or too cold! It is either too dry and sunny, or too wet and rainy. There is either too much snow or not enough snow at all! You get the idea…we complain about things all the time and often we do not even notice it.

“People won’t have time for you if you are always angry or complaining.” – Stephen Hawking

So here is a new challenge! Let’s practice gratefulness and give our complaints a bit of a break! You will be surprised how content and happy we can be when we stop complaining about things that most of the times we do not have any control over! Our complaints just reinforce the basis for negativity and do not resolve any of our problems!

“Be grateful for what you have and stop complaining – it bores everybody else, does you no good, and doesn’t solve any problems.” – Zig Ziglar

Smile and take it easy 🙂 Until next post, so long for now…
