Health, family, and love

Every morning, I wake up more grateful, optimistic, and energetic than yesterday. Every day is a new beginning and it holds the potential to be the best day of my life. I am still here, I am still breathing, and I am surrounded by love and family. Every day, I remind myself to not take what I have for granted. I am not shy or hesitant to say “I love you!” and “Thank you!” to my partner, siblings, parents, and the rest of my family – even if it is multiple times a day.

Sometimes, we get so caught up with life and what we think is important that we tend to forget the things that matter the most: For me, they are health, family, and Love. Love your family – whoever or whatever that might be! Just be grateful that there is someone out there who cares about you and loves you unconditionally. Take care of yourself and loved ones – health is what we often take for granted, especially when we are young and healthy. Finally, love – you have to live with yourself every day. So love what you do, who you are, and what you have. There is always room for more love in everyone’s life.

Our days are numbered. I keep reminding myself of that. I try to stay optimistic, live every day to the fullest, and appreciate what and who I have in life.
